The Chinese Embassies in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Lebanon have issued notices that: starting from September 1st, to further facilitate personnel exchanges between China and other countries, Pakistani citizens and Lebanese citizens may submit their visa applications to the local Chinese Visa Application Service Centers.

Additionally, in the context of the normalization of COVID-19 prevention and control, foreign nationals from Timor-Leste and Myanmar with valid Chinese residence permits for work, personal affairs and family reunion may also apply for visas free of charge at the Chinese Embassy's in these two countries this started on 22nd August 2020 with an appointment.

So far China has resumed issuing visas to citizens from 14 Asian countries and 36 European countries.
List of 14 applicable Asian countries:
South Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Timor-Leste, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Lebanon.
List of 36 applicable European countries:
Albania, Ireland, Estonia, Austria, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Belgium, Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, the Netherlands, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Romania, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Cyprus, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, and the United Kingdom?
It should be noted that all foreign nationals shall board the plane and leave for China with a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 3 days (72 hours), and shall be strictly managed in accordance with the regulations on epidemic prevention in relevant areas after entering China.
